I don't recall ever seeing the track be as smooth for a big race.

lets put a myth away too, They groomed the track for several hours Saturday evening.

I don't know if it wasn't ripped as deep or watered as much or even the amount of traffic on it was less.

I'm not complaining because the racing was good. I'm just saying I've never seen it so smooth.

They didn't groom it, they just didn't put as much water on it as they did last year. The wind also played a factor in drying it out.

The track was definitely a lot smoother than it was last year for the national

So they use a D9 with a ripper to water the track ?

I sat there Saturday and watched them groom the track.

Okay but in a day's worth of racing on Sunday (in comparison to a day's worth last year) the track didn't get as rough. The GP's get rougher than any national track usually but they usually don't get the dry weather in Europe.

they groomed it sat.......i saw it sat after qual and sun am before racing.........it was groomed

american tracks get rougher than euro tracks heard that for years by riders, managers, mags and from european racer's in interviews

FIM and AMA have different regs as to the depth of the rip, ama being deeper, was there for 4-st nats talked to jody and he said they werent allowed to rip it as deep as they do for a national

the euro races are 5 min longer but the tracks here are faster, longer and rougher and american racing is intense flat out start to finish, euro's settle in and come on later

euro's have more sand tracks
