Im about sick of my favorite fighters losing the title, while I think Suga Sean has this in the bag, every time I think that, shit goes the other way, this year at least. What Think y'all?

hell of a show, boring last 2 fights were boring but thats shev and merab did what they had to do to secure the titlesw!
Grasso had her moments on the ground. O'Malley looked flat but Merab is a beast.
honestly thought Sean would have been a little more impressive, he was not striking and had no pop to him. i personally don't like fighters like Merab, the kiss on the neck was bullshit.
maybe it will kick Sean into gear, he was either over-confident going in to this one or scared.

Any thoughts on it being in the Sphere?
I'd imagine had I been there and seen it first hand it would have had more impact but watching at home it felt like it took away from the gladiatorial feeling a bit. I'm not sure if it was because it wasn't a full 360 of people around the cage or that the visuals were so much bigger than the cage itself that it felt like it dwarfed the fights but it felt a little off... but maybe that's because it was an unfamiliar version of the experience.
Dana recently spoke about it on 2 bears podcast . Seems they were really focused on representing the Mexican culture that night. He goes in some detail about it.
I've seen a few clips about him gambling insane amounts of money from that one but I suppose I'll have to give the full thing a listen.
Believe it or not, I actually know a few people who worked on the visuals for the event and the process to getting it up there is mindblowing. I'd like to think we do some pretty gnarly work but the scale they are working at makes me fear for our computers. Pretty stoked though because we met the guys who run the Sphere a little while back and we've been kicking around some ideas to pitch to them. Hopefully something comes of it, seems like an amazing canvas.
I saw a clip on Instagram someone posted from the fight and the visual entertainment must be incredible to see in person. It has to be a world class team of people to put something like that together.
