Are you an anti capitalist?

And it stills begs the question if AMA has problems do the really need [u:ij1q68d0]more corruption from a foreign company [/u:ij1q68d0]?

Im not going to act like I know the business of MX promoting, YouthStream, and AMA racing etc because I dont. However, I do think competition in the bid process is needed. Without competition, we'll get new faces with the same inept decisions and policy. After the bid has been granted to the winner, I hope this promoting group competes with other sports. For example, even though MLB, NBA, and NFL are monopolies, they comepete against each other for fans and merchandise sales. If Youthstream is corrupt or inept, I dont want them to win the bid. However, I dont want another knee jerk organization to win the bid either. Protectionism isnt the key. Competition to win the bid process is key. On a side note, seems like Youthstream really fucked up by talking down of the US Nationals. Its GPs look very professional but there going to have a tough sell, even if they can sell, to the fans like 500 guy.

I'm all for competition, it makes everyone raise the bar.

I'm just not a fan of who got invited and how things went down, however I think maybe Dingman might be going in the right direction, at first I thought he wasn't but now I'm not so sure.

I agree Youthstream runs a professional show but people act like it's without flaws and thats not true.

I've been to 2 MXoN's one Here and one in England, both were cluster fucks for the fans, maybe the press got treated better I don't know , I doubt I'll get in the Press Box of a GP any time soon.

I think even the English say the British MXdN was a clusterfuck.
You do realize that much of the set up and operations is done by the track promoter, right?

If Freestone's first national last year would've been a total clusterfuck, would you have blamed the NPG or the local track promoter?

I thought the local track owners for the nationals are the NPG?
Isn't that why Youthstream gets the big bucks ,
To make sure it isn't a huge clusterfuck?

NPG is the overall group, where each track owner (and then some) are members.
Each track owner is responsible for their own event.

GP's have certain standards to keep as set forth in their agreement with YS/FIM (Just as NPG does), but all staffing, security, vending, crowd control is done at the local level, just like with the Nationals here.

Do you think the NPG or YS fly in hundreds of staffers to work at every event?

So lets see , They take the up front fee and take credit for the races success but if it is a cluster they blame it on the weather or the local promoter ?

They don't have a plan for how many bathrooms and personnel the track will need or how often to pump and wash the shitters ?

When you get your profit up front it's a tad bit hard to not claim success.

Yeah, go ask DC who's responsible for cleaning the shitters, the NPG or the local track?

I am far from understanding the whole picture, but the bits and pieces I read about tell me one thing. Someone need to own the whole damn thing. I mean be in control( and be responsible for) the whole process. Is that so hard to accomplish?

Go ask Johnathan why no Porta Johns were in the infield MXoN, I'll tell you why

it made for a bad picture not because they were not needed.

Plenty of people were pissing on or near trash cans and the fences and to make matters worse there was only one real intrance tunnel people were using to go back and forth.
