Windham / Hansen / Tickle / Vallejo / OTC on DMXS Radio Tonight
GEICO Powersport Honda’s Kevin Windham was riding a wave of momentum from his victory in Seattle and the cagy veteran once again took advantage of the trying track conditions to secure his second win in a row. Kevin is already in Vegas and will check in from Sin City for an update for this weekend and beyond, including his plans for the summer.
Pro Circuit’s Josh Hansen showed he had the speed throughout the year, but that never translated into consistent race results until Salt Lake City where his popular win at the final round was fitting for a season based on redemption. We have had him on the show a number of times throughout his rollercoaster career and wanted to make sure to help him celebrate the win tonight.
DNA Shred Stix/Star Racing Yamaha’s Broc Tickle has certainly put in the work to position himself atop the sport in SX this year. He was not handed the traditional golden spoon out of the amateur ranks and literally raced his way into a ride. We have known him, and tortured him about his name, for many years and look forward to letting him return some abuse tonight.
For those long-time listeners, you know we have a soft spot in our hearts for Privateers, and Erick Vallejo was always one of our favorites. It’s literally “Cinco de Vallejo” and I called our friend to catch up tonight on the show.
Have you ever seen those dream pictures of a pro’s practice track and wonder what that would be like in your own backyard? Well, Jesse Milley from On Track Creations will be on the show tonight to tell you exactly how you can make that dream a reality. Jesse’s company has worked with Cernic’s Kawasaki, Paul Carpenter, Bob Kiniry, and our own Bremen Race Park among others. This grassroots effort company is building it’s reputation and client list and we will get the details of how it all works tonight.
DMXS Radio would like to add our condolences to Andrew McFarlane’s family for the untimely passing of their beloved family member. Sharky was one of the good guys on and off the track and will be dearly missed. We would also like to express our sadness on the passing of Danny “Magoo” Chandler. Magoo will be missed, but remembered as a pioneer, hero, and friend to the countless people he touched in his life on and off the bike. Godspeed, gentlemen.
