I just found this photo of myself getting ready for moto 1 at Lorretta Lynn's 125B Mod Class in 1984. Funny how, back then a "roll" of film half would turn out and the other six got coffee spilled on or some shit like that and you are left with one or two photos of the big event. Today, if my son Sam made it to LL, I bet I would take over a 1000 pics.

Anyway, I scanned this photo and want to download it to another site, but normal size, any help cleaning this up? I don't know how.

Thanks

First thing you need to do is crop it when you are scanning so you don't get all the white around it.

Even though your file is quite large, most of it is not the picture. The picture itself is scanned at pretty low resolution.

If you scan the picture again, crop the scan to have just the photo, and increase the resolution to perhaps 300dpi or even 600 dpi, then email it, I can clean it up for you.

Think you can accomplish those steps?

Thanks for the advice, I'm about to throw the scanner out the window. Just threw the photo in Photoshop and playing around with it so will go that route. Thanks again.

Here's a quick color and contrast adjustment and a little sharpening. It still suffers from being a relatively small scan. And it's hard to get the grass any greener without affecting the other stuff.[attachment=0:1lp9i9ir]MX Picture cropped.jpg[/attachment:1lp9i9ir]
