Maybe he bent his break lever, then when he went off the jump a rut pulled it in. He clearly hit it hard enough to make it, but right when he got to the takeoff it looked like he lost his momentum alot.

Who knows? How about I got it from someone I trust?

Here's the thing that cracks me up. People piss and moan because "Everthing's a secret", or "Hush-hush." I get some info from a source that I trust, not just about the bike but the goggles, and everyone goes all grassy knoll on it. Wink

How about he was "looking down at the bike" because he was trying to get dirt out of his eye?

Maybe you got that from someone you trust, but where did he/she get it from?

I'm not a conspiracy guy. Just saying that of the thousands of reasons why RV tried to take out RD, "goggle problem" has got to be way-way-way down low on the list.

Would like to hear how looking down gets dirt OUT of your eye. These guys do wardrobe changes over tripples, but RV decides to fix his goggle problem by looking down at his bike going through the mechanic's section.

It looked to me like he was a bit cross rutted in the g-out between landing/ jumping got it straightened out, grabbed a handful and drug his feet or the bottom of the bike on the takeoff and then shit himself prior to ejecting.
