2021 crf450we with 20 hours on it. It’s never had pump gas only t4 since day one. I bought the bike new and had Honda do the mapping recall a couple months after I bought it. This year when I started riding it randomly the bike started shutting off. Sometimes it would just cut out and other times it would bog down and shut off. Triple checked my fuel batch number, not bad fuel. I thought the map switch got some water in it so I replaced it (happened on my 2017 450). Opened it up no water corrosion. Wasn’t the switch. Checked the spark plug it looks good, original but good. Always keep the air filter clean and good oil. Do fuel pumps go bad from sitting? Any help would be appreciated.
thanks
It’s the T4. I had all the same issues with my bike and even had Tokyo Mods map it supposedly for T4. Switched back to 91 octane pump fuel and no issues at all the last 10 engine hours. VP was having issues I believe with bad batches of fuel.
