I am wanting to start a factory replica project, I have been looking all over craigslist to find a decent 1990 CR 250. and I need some pics of the 1990 factory Hondas

The 1990 factory Honda's were fairly plain as you can see. Here's Stanton at Daytona

Here's a link to another 90 CR250 replica. It has a 1991 seat on it which was run at some stages during the 1990 season, possibly outdoors???

...although the photo includes the Camel Supercross decal which they did not run outdoors. But again, this is someone elses replica, not the real McCoy...

Definately no Camel Supercross decal on the shroud for the outdoors but I can't find any photos of a 1990 with a 1991 seat. Maybe someone else can shed some light on this...

Thanks for the photos. But I can't tell what the top 3 decals on the back fender are. Does anyone know where I can get the Honda wing and the HRC decals on the shrouds.

I'm not sure where you can get the Honda wing, I think Factory Effex has some...i gotta get some myself for my 91 lol. The HRC decals i got at www.vintagefactory.com. They have some awesome old school stickers. Hope that helps!

Try contacting Throttle Jockey or one of the other decal companys. They can replicate just about anything these days. I had a company in Australia do all my 96 replica decals

the picture of the jeff stanton replica is mine. they did run the 91 seats on the bikes when i saw them at the foxboro supercross in Massachusetts in 1990. i have a picture of stantons #1 bike and bayles #22 bike in the pits. both with the 91 seat on them and obviously they both had the camel supercross decals on the front plate. ill try to post the up sometime soon,

Edit:

I didn't notice how old this thread is. If you're still working on this, you can find the radiator shroud decals at www.evo-mx.com. The next two stickers on Kiedrowski's rear fender are Twin-Air and Afam. I'm not sure what the last one is.

i just found the pictures i have of the 1990 foxboro supercross and the pictures of both JMB's and stantons factory cr250's with the 91 seats that were the inspiration for me building my stanton replica cr250. i'll post them up as soon as i scan the pics and download them.

also i got my honds wings/ HRC shroud decals from parts unlimited a few years ago. they might still have them in their catalog. check with your dealer.

i finally uploaded the pictures from the 1990 foxboro supercross that had both jeff stanton's and JMB's factory hondas with the 1991 seats. these are just awesome and one of the best looking CR's ever. last picture is the program stanton signed for me and the picture of him signing it. enjoy.






once i saw stantons bike i always wanted to build one and that was the inspiration for my 1990 cr250
