Hemonds Mx Park

This threads useless without pics

Last time I was at Hemonds was probably the second year that the new track was in place, so I might be talking out my ass here, but I don't think the track is nearly as accessible as Budds or Southwick. (Assuming they haven't) they would also need to allow spectators around the whole perimeter of the track. When I was there it seemed crowded just at a local race because all the spectating was from the top of the hill.

Budds Creek is on a main road and an amazing facility. No way should that place be cut out.

Southwick on the other hand is a great track to ride but I personally think it sucks as a national venue.

I second this post. Hemonds is hands down my favorite track that I've ever been to. I wouldn't say its more deserving than other tracks, but it's definitely National-worthy. It's a really wide track, and I believe it's dubbed the longest on the east coast. It's awesome dirt and the owners take amazing care of it.

Hemond's is the best track in New England IMO. But they lack in the viewing department. You can only go around parts of the track and not even close to the whole thing. Viewing is good from up top, but add thousands of spectators and they all can't fit up top and need other places to go.


The track is so much fun to ride!!
