Do you use a VPN ?

So I was hoping to start using a VPN to get Peacock up here in Canada.

I have no experience with these VPN's and limited actual knowledge of what they do (scramble your signal so its untraceable?) and the pricing seems low enough to try it out.

Please share your knowledge if you use a VPN or you know exactly what it does or how they work.

I’ve got Nord VPN, VPN’s protect your data, hide you location, they’re better if you’re using public WiFi. 
 

A little tip, if you set your location to Albania you don’t get any ads on YouTube.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but you might need an American credit card for it to work.

Man YouTube and YouTubeTV are starting get really annoying with them adds. It has gotten so bad

Always! I use Mullvad VPN, but might give Nord VPN a try. Only complaint about Mullvad I got is that I have to shut it down when starting most streaming services I use (but can start it again once the streaming is up and running). Not sure if Nord VPN works better for that or not.

Same here, I had a VPN (Xpress VPN) in order to view Peacock here in Africa. 

I no longer require it as I have a subscription to view the SX and MX.
