neckbrace/armour issues

i have an a/stars bionic neck brace and a thor sentinal chest protector that i wish to run both at same time. i have been stuffing around with them for a few hours now and cannot find a suitable set up. i have tried keeping major modifications out of the picture but i just cant get it to sit properly without being annoying. anybody got any suggestions? please

I have a Leatt and use a thor senital and when i wore both it just felt uncomfortable,so I cut the senital sholder pads off at the foam that joins them and drilled tiny holes in the bottom of the corners of the leatt and in the foam of the chest protector and ziptied them together so the chest protector front and back hangs from the Leatt.Way better!!!!.I know it leaves the sholder area exposed but at least Im wearing a chest protector.Im a bigger guy (5 11" 210 lbs )and the senital was always a bit small,now it sits a bit lower,but you can adjust that with the zip ties

I've always felt that my leatt and thor sentinel fit very well, the armour fits snug between the edges of the brace. As far as the astars brace? unsure, it's going to feel weird either way when you wear it, but you'll get used to it.

only problem with that is the bionic hinges in the middle and not the side like leatt. would be a pain in the ass zip tying everytime i put on and take off

I know it isn't the Sentinel but have a look at the link below... I have always preferred wearing a plastic protector, as most of our tracks have trees etc near bye... My A Stars brace arrives soon so I'll be looking for a soln too...

I'd also be hesitant to drill the leatt, might be a warranty/safety issue... Maybe visit a pro race and ask some mechs or find out who is your local rep for your dealers and ask for suggestions...

It's made to work with the neck braces. The front plate is lower and allows for the front of the brace and the back has panels that are removal.
Interesting.... What is it like to wear in the heat???

I still like the idea of wearing one outside your jersey, if nothing else, it can save the jersey too, but the back protection is a plus...

I was checking out Andrew Shorts set up for the outdoors,And they took the chest protector apart and zip tied them together like some of you guys are talking about,Saw him put it on and it looked easy just clip the sides and go!

I live in Houston...... The armpit of the world. I wear it in the heat with no issues.
