Nah, I don't see many of the usual suspects anymore. It seems like so long ago.

My favorite part was in his heat when Millsaps tried to block pass him and Ivan just railed the corner and said Hell No!! Ivan has a fire in his belly again and he's fighting for it. I'm proud of ya IT9! Keep it up.

He was on the box! Pretty good for a guy who everybody had given up on, who had to make a privateer deal happen to even compete this season!

Don't call Valle team a privateer team. It's as much of a privateer team as L&M and JGR and no one calls those team's privateer team's (but all 3 of them, Valle, L&M and JGR are privateer team's). The Valle team has just as much availability to Yamaha parts as L&M and JGR.

The magic happens behind closed doors and not the parts they bolt on the motorcycles. The team's are only as good as the people that do the work.

The reason Ivan didn't get on a team till the last minute wasn't because no one wanted him. It was because no factory team's wanted him and he was holding for big dollars from the satellite team's and the Valle team was the only team to pay him.

welcome back mutt. Although occasionally wading through some bullshit is required here, it's still a great place with most of the same dickheads.

He seems to have adapted to the Yamy pretty well. I would say a win is a possible reality soon. The David Bailey One Industries gear he had on was bitching.

Just an observation, but if Valli is so good why does IT run Pro Circuit susp and motors?

Because Yamaha rents the suspension to the team's that in their minds qualify for good suspension. The price tag is large.

As for as the observation of why Ivan signed so late, Scott Taylor (Ivan's Manager) was calling every team that had an open spot and was telling each of them that Ivan had been offered X amount by the other and was hopping one of them would pay up. The thing is, some team's talk to the others (the MX industry is a small community) and the one's that were talking to the other knew what was going on. The one that didn't talk to the others (the newest team of them all), got baited into negotiations. It's part of the contract game.

Dang, x...you're getting grumpier in your old age. Wink

Maybe he was happy because it was his first trip to the podium this season, and that he'd ridden a really good race?

Ah, obviously another veteran member with a new name.

If you're talking about Looped, that's not Mutt.
