Tomac vs Jett?

So we all know by now that Tomac confirmed he's coming back 2024 Supercross. Which is awesome. He expressed how much it hurt to lose the title in such a freak way.

His contract in SX only with the option to race outdoors. I'm expecting Tomac plan is to come back to win the SX championship and then retire. But here's the kicker. If tomac decides to hang up the boots after the 2024 Supercross season and not race outdoors, my concern is fans will just say he's scared of losing to Jett. Because Tomac wants to go out on Top. Especially after losing the SX title the way he did. I'd hate for tomacs legacy to be shit on by fans saying he was scared of losing to Jett in outdoors and that's why he retired. And I truly feel tomac is the only guy that can beat Jett.

I guess we'll see what Tomac decides to do!

Tomac has beat the best riders in the world ,sx, mx He could retire now as a legend.  I doubt dudes at this level are worried ,scared to race other riders.

Tomac is not the type to be scared to lose against Jett or anyone for that matter, his retirement was meant to be this year but that injury that took his title away pissed him off enough to come back for SX and try it again.

Only idiots will say that he's scared to lose to Jett.

None of the top riders are scare to loose to the new/next/current competition.
They just know it’s time to leave the grind.

My theory, which could be wrong, is that if Tomac does win the SX Championship, that would reasonably be about 8ish wins to achieve that goal. That would put him close enough to McGrath that I think he will go SX only a couple more years to go for that record. If he struggles and doesn’t win the championship, I think he calls it a career.

He is not a guy that cares about records.

If we’re being honest with ourselves, Tomac has lost some speed since leaving Kawasaki. While he has certainly improved his mental game, Jett is just faster and not a headcase like sexton

Everyone says that. It’s the correct thing to say. Jett says he doesn’t care about an undefeated season. We believe that too?
