I'm curious of real world testing of those with aftermarket engine mounts/head stays. I've heard both sides of the coin on the topic.... But most of those people don't actually own a set.
I'm mainly curious if anyone has ran lightspeed carbon fiber or WCL head stays on a YZ250. I'm in the market for a set for my 2 smoker but not sure what route to take. Hopefully this thread can help a variety of people get the most out of their chassis setups.
Post info about your bikes, which mounts you're using, and the end result of what you noticed (if at all).

Back in the day, it was always Test, Test, Test.
Alway based on Rider feel.
Sure, a lot of that had to do with appearances alone many times.
Also, as with anything else, what was the choice on Monday, may have been taken off & changed by Friday.
Very subjective.
The right way is thru Computer Aided Analysis.
That in modern times narrows things/choices down significantly.
Yet even then, it’s Rider input, feel, etc.
Even different Torque specs for certain areas can have an effect on 1’s feel.
At the end of the day, it’s a personal & subjective thing regardless.
