2010 CRF250 Not Starting

2010 CRF250R

- New plug good spark

- Good compression, recent valve job was only a few hours ago

Gas still smells good, however I did try getting it to fire on starting fluid and it would not.  There has to be something I am not checking, and help is much appreciated.

Have you checked valve clearance? Leak down?
