I really think Herlings would do it if KTM gave him the green light, and that's something about Herlings that I respect because he knows if he doesn't win, it will make it awfully hard to be considered the fastest man on the planet. He would have all of Europe depending on it and Americans hoping like f he didn't win due to all the "euro vs Americans" arguing online. I think he would rather have Tomac racing because even if he won, there would be that "what if Tomac was there" that would always be a part of it.

There's an ego risk from hell involved for him, and I admire that he would put it on the line. With that said, if I were him, I would think twice and only attempt it on a track like southwick that suits him the most.

I admire that he would do it, but just because MX Large is insinuating that he would win, I don't know that he would. Chase and Jett are no joke and I wouldn't chance it if I were him. Especially on certain tracks. Ironman 2017 was what it was. This is an entirely different group of ama riders he would be up against, they would be fully aware of who he is, aware of how fast he is, and aware that they really needed to beat him. I wouldn't risk my ego against these boys, but then again I'm not Jeffrey Herlings. As an American, I hope he does try these boys like that. Then again, I'm kinda hoping he doesn't because that's Jeffrey fucking Herlings. If he does, I'm tuning in like a mf and I'll be pretty nervous.

You understand the Herlings from 2017 isn't the Herlings from 2023.

The shape and speed he had at the end of 2017 and the season of 2018 was incredible and I don't think there was any racer ever better that Herlings any time.

He is this a badass on a dirtbike but with a healthy Gajser I really think the way he's riding now he wasn't able to become world champion again.

He loses to many points in the qualli races and Gajser is also able to speed up at the end of a manche.

He is now riding the same way Cairoli did for years but time is changing rapidly.

If he is races an outdoor the way he is riding GP's now then he has no chance of winning.

Tim ain't going to beat him this year, and no one else still competing will either.
