Yeah, I read last week that De Vries might get the boot if he doesn't turn things around.

I guess that's what happens when you don't have daddy's money to keep you on the grid like Mazepin, Latifi, etc.

The race this weekend has been cancelled because of massive floods in the area.

Man, that's a bummer for all involved.

I hope Imola had some good insurance because this could kick their asses if not.

Was looking forward to see what Alonso could do there.

No way Hamilton goes to Ferrari. I think that was a barging chip for him to get more money from Mercedes. Cool

IMO, he's delusional.

Not only does he want a driver contract, but he also wants a 250 million dollar 10 year ambassador contract.

Albon into the wall to red flag P1.  It’s a shame the cars developed to make the Monaco course obsolete.  It really is a special backdrop for a F1 race.

Perez crashed so he'll start last on the grid.

Damn…Perez picked the wrong weekend for that kind of setback. Ouch!

Leclerc has a 3 place grid penalty for impeding Norris in qualifying, so he'll start 6th.

Not sure if he was being overly ambitious in that turn or what?

He was hauling ass in there.

As we all know, the race in Monaco is almost always a snoozer, and if the race was being planned as a new track it would never stand a chance of getting on the calendar.

But for pure spectacle and history, this is such a great race weekend. It’s generally my favorite qualifying session of the year. This year qualifying did not fail to deliver. That was a very exciting session.

can't believe Max held out on those Medium tires for 55 laps... insane. the announcers were claiming 30-38 laps maximum.

it's crazy how important race-strategy is in the Monaco race. for instance...

if Max comes in for tires around lap 40, he gives up the track position and the lead... then the rain comes and who knows if he gets it back...

but... Aston Martin chooses a new set of slicks AFTER the rain comes, forcing him in again to get INTERS.

so who knows.

all i can say is that Max is on another level, he is so dominant and consistent. pulling off the Pole Position was massive for his chance to win.
