Just picked up a brand new 2023 Fc250 haven't ridden it yet but noticed a honey coloured sticky oily substance under the case and on some of the side bolts of the case. Is this just assembly lube? I wouldn’t think it would be leaking all over being brand new never ran yet ? I just cleaned it off for now will keep an eye out.
First Austrian bike so not sure if they use lots of assembly lube etc ?

Could it be an over oiled air filter?
It’s weird it was all over I mean lightly it was hard to notice but it was on the side case. Under the case and even up on the other side where the water pump was. It’s like someone spilled oil on or around it and didn’t clean it up good enough. Who knows ? I cleaned it all up though.
