Hello.

I have a 2023 KTM 350 SX-F with the new updated shock revalved after my spec.

I think its really great but i also have a 2022 Xact Pro 8950 that im thinking of buying and install the modifications to fit the 23 bike.

its about 400USD.
I heard the new style shock is very good and not worth upgrading..

any toughts or should i just run the revalved oem shock and sell my 8950?

Personally I have never liked the Xact Pro rear shock over the standard shock, even the oem shock on stock valving is very good in my opinion.  I've done revalves on the Pro shock and it was always more rigid to me.  My thoughts are that the cnc machined body and the larger shock shaft creates more of a stiff feel to the rider.

The only rear way to know is to test, but If done back to back on the 2016 bike and 2019. Both times I went with OEM shock.

What are the modifications to make the '22 xact pro 8950 shock fit the '23 bike?
