Sounds like he knew people would not be happy with this set up and was smart enough to buy it so Motodrive wouldn't resurface as competition.

Content here is excellent but this place lacks alot compared to motodrive.

Subscribing to a post would be nice too; which seems like a very basic feature. Did it have that before it was changed? ...but free is good.

Photos! You need to be able to post pics in it's original size!

I mean, how can you NOT have a forum that let you do that, especially since we like to sheer alot of photos in this kind of community.

And why does your text get all screwed up once you click, say, the photo button? It's very irritating and it means I always have to go back and edit all the line breaks, just to make it readable.

The PM function as already mentioned.

And for how long can you actually edit your post's? It seems like forever, which is kinda funny with all these battles going on here all the time...

Dave makes some very valid points, it is not the litlle MD, or Freshdirt anymore! It is getting more and more commercialized all the time! Guess that helps keep the lights on.

And it is getting harder and harder to find any threads worth reading!

Well Dave, dont forget that back then there actually were "noobs", not just posters signing up under different names and/or clicked accounts on time outs that cant take it like a man. Today 9 out of 10 new accounts arent really noobs at all.

and those of you wanting a "chat" feature, we tried that in the past and it was a total failure.

I realize a lot of the "noobs" are fishermen and shit starters, which then becomes the jurisdiction of yours and the other mods

I think the next major modification this forum needs is the ability to block or lock an ip address.
