Labels on the riders was stupid, have the announcers describe them instead.
"As we watch the whoops section here you can see Sexton is catching up to Malcom Stewart, last lap he ran a 59.56 and Stewart ran a 1:01.43" etc. that would be so much better than "You can see this track is tough. Back in '06 it was also tough. Which is difficult man, you know Aldon Baker is a really good guy and he's been training the best since who knows when... Sexton trains himself in Santa Barbara" follow by "Ohhhhh sexton is gonna pass him!"
I just feel like the announcers has been stale in the past few years. Fresh blood was great during outdoors. But they need to take a page from great Baseball announcers or something. Yeah, the 250 race wasn't that interesting, but you can be descriptive to the audience without telling war stories. Shouting "whooooaaahhhh he did a quad..." "He got a bit wild in the whoops there" is cringe worthy, yeah Rick we saw that shit, we're watching it too.
I feel like my old man with my complaints. But this is a forum right, we're supposed to spout off and rant right?? I'm trying to bash on Rick, but I don't even remember the other dudes name he was same/same but different.
Also, freaking let me start the race from the beginning without joining live and rewinding.
id like to see the tracks changed by toning them down a bit to where theres not so many injuries
I reckon they should remove the killer whoops they're going to have at Glendale. Ya know..... just in case they ruin my favourite rider's title hopes..
And Daytona- no sand at Daytona please, just in case it ruins my favourite rider's title hopes..
Changes?
Was cool to see the graphics being projected onto the stadium floor. Still think their TV motion and PIP decisions suck but that's not them who can be controlled. That's the guy who runs the TV decisions and he just doesn't seem to get racing.
I'd love to see the royal them get their shit together and treat their "partners", as they call them, like actual partners and properly promote them – run their logos across the bottom of the screen so the riders can just talk and show some personality.
Let them sell Merch at their pit boxes, even if you have to tax it 5%, so they can afford to pay to go racing.
And while you're at it, hows aboot you don't charge people to come race your show you're making millions of dollars off.

I actually think they got a lot right, so I’ll point that out hoping it won’t change first.
Finish had Tomac in smaller box while they kept larger box on Sexton /Webb race for second.
They did a decent amount of looking back in the pack when the race up front was stable.
Went back to the race up front and didn’t miss passes during race.
I’ve accepted they will do fluff pieces from time to time so I don’t bitch about that anymore when it doesn’t interfere with the race.
like others said, it would be good to have some analysts looking at guys coming through the pack and feeding it to Ricky or Duffy. Then comments like Webb has taken 1/2 second/lap off the leaders for the last five laps - then transition to Webb if the race up front allows, or split box. I think they did do a good job of the split box but the commentary could be more on point.
New talent in announcers both, breaking own the technical side if racing when it's happening.
Travis pastrana to design a few tracks every year
Reed, windham, canard, grant or brayton ect in the both
The Announcer thing is so political, its insane. I do not think anyone is better than Weege, personally. However, If I were a football player, lord knows what actual players think of the guy to the left of Troy Aikman, Tony Romo, and former players that are in Ricky's role.
Personally, I feel like there were more improvements than negatives, lets not forget how rough the Nationals were Ladies, Gentlemen, and the rest of you...
