Installed the rest of my Factory Effex graphics and a new handlebar pad.
I should also have my Pro Circuit 296 silencer, Trailtech kickstand, Tusk folding shift lever and the rest of the parts to install my desert tank tomorrow.
Took the bike out today with some friends. Great weather in Arizona for riding today, head rain just a little last night so it made the dirt perfect! Having a kickstand today would’ve been really nice.
I got the kickstand and a new shift lever installed this morning. The kickstand would’ve been really nice on yesterday’s ride! Also removed the UFO frame guards. I had to remove it to install the kickstand and when I did I noticed that it was starting to rust the frame and the nut and bolt for the swingarm was full of mud and dirt. I don’t think that’s a good idea. So I’m going to order the Works connection frame guards

My buddy has a 2022 YZ450F and he had the suspension completely rebuilt as soon as he bought it. He gave me his rear factory spring, would that be a decent swap on my 125? I weight about 195 lbs. I have read a few places and a local shop said that's what he does for alot of 125 riders over 180 lbs,
I went for a ride at The White Tanks in AZ today. While I was out there I meet a guy and he took me out on some serious Single Track trails, destroyed me! I need more bottom end, ideas? I had a hard time on the steep hills. I know, get a bigger bike, that's not in the budget right now. I was really surprised how well the 125 did, just need a little more bottom end!
if you find out what weight the 2022 spring is, then you can work out if its the correct spring for you buddy, race tech have a ok calculator, i put on loads of bits over the years to wake my old girl up, i fitted a athena 125 race cylinder (the daft expensive one), vortex x 10, a power blade, v force reed block, polished the carb out, pro circuit works front, and 304 rear pipe, removed the backfire screen and run no toil filter and oil, i jetted to the pro circuit specs and its a lively little bike for its age (and my age lol), i run a 2010 yzf 250 rear shock with the 2 stroke comp adjuster, and i have a rare set of full factory 50mm sss forks which ive been told are rare, there good fun when you get them to how you want it, have a few more times out before you change much or you wont know whats gona benefit you
Try a 12 tooth front sprocket. On trails you will probably not go max speed on 5th gear anyway.
Installed V force, 3 reed valves and cycra handguards. Took it out on a 30 mile single track ride with a buddy today, the V force reeds really helped with the low end to mid and power, power seem to hit a little sooner.
Installed a desert tank today and the petcock sits pretty low. So when I went to install the fuel line, I noticed that it runs below the carburetor, the way I have it routed in the picture will it be OK?
