Well some things were added to the database recently, and since then its felt like we are running a few cylinders down. Hopefully it gets fixed....and SOON.

Actually, we've got a new system in place that's like a goverrnor for people who never met a post that they couldn't respond to. The more frequently you post, the more it slows down your system.

There's also some cutting edge AI built into it that evaluates the IQ of the content. If it detects that you've read dumb stuff, it slows down the performance by a small percentage. If it detects that you've replied to dumb content (and remember, it also evaluates your response), it will adjust the speed of your system accordingly.

Apparently all of you have been hanging out in the wrong threads.

Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.

I do believe Lenny's place is 10 times faster than this place and that's running on a 10 year old piece of crap Dell in my basement on a slow ass DSL connection shared by my bandwidth hogging children.
