Just picked up a low hour 22 crf450 and had a couple questions. My last Honda was a 2012 where I removed the backfire screen and re routed the valve cover breather so it would come out down by the linkage. Any problem with doing that on this one? I can’t see why it would be any different.
I can’t believe Honda is still routing the breather into the airbox. I’ve already removed the screen to clean it and notice a crack in the one corner and broke away when I pulled it out. Wondering if I need to put a new one back in because of the way this filter/cage is set up. Not trying to suck the filter into the box but also not trying to spend almost 300 dollars on the twin air kit.
