Sometimes sites will screw up on prices also.

Best Buy last week on their web site had a 50inch monitor for $100.00, it was definitely a mistake. I ordered one because they are normally close to 3grand.
But they canceled my order the next day.
My friend who sent me the link ended up getting his,he ordered it online and chose the option to pick it up at the store and they gave it to him. Smile

no offense, but are you sure about that?

I know they have to honor prices, but the law allows for typos and errors--i.e., they don't have to sell a $3000 tv for $100.

Normally I wouldn't believe it but a few years back I bought a 500 dollar laptop at best buy, I got it home and noticed it was an intel computer not the AMD I purchased. The guy screwed up giving me the computer and gave me a 1500 dollar intel HP model instead of the clunker I was buying. I felt bad for a few seconds.

We do a lot of printing for Sears...we print their barcode tickets.

One year (around Christmas) we print some tickets for some "Leather Jackets". They were supposed to be $199.99. Well...they rang up $19.99. The stores sold out of them in a hurry!!!!! Guess what, we got a charge back for the tune of $65,000.00. The people that rang them up questioned the price, but the computer said "$19.99", so they must have been on sale.....

Yes. I guess we didn't "have to"... but being our biggest customer, not paying wasn't an option.

Needless to say, changes were implemented in our "procedures" after that. Blink

I was just glad that it was for leather jackets at Sears....and that they don't sell many. Only around 650-700 were sold and Sears has 683 stores.
