It’s funny, Jett had a good race and everyone is like, Chase is screwed. We also forget Adam qualified first by about a full second at almost every supercross in 20 and was gonzo at Pala ‘21 before washing out. Speed iis not a problem for AC and if he can put some stuff together all bets continue to be off.

But Ricky thinks otherwise on the public record. James Stewart had Jett's passes on Chase (and others) on video loop during his post MXON show. He was having a good chuckle about them too and the situation in the tent.
Tomac really struggled to pass next level Sexton in outdoors '22: in moto 2 at MXON when it was still all up in the air Jett blew past Chase, and waved.
You have no idea what your talking about.

Chase is on a very short list of guys that have a 250 SX title and have made it on a 450 winning both SX and MX races
Think back and name the next guy to come up and do so?

Webb yes he does have one MX win and an outstanding SX performance
AC has MX wins on a 450 but his only SX win is monsters cup does that even count ?

Nah, monster cup doesn’t count in win totals so it’s not an SX win. It’s an exhibition race

K-Dub was a different sort of rider. Amazing talent but it was his personality that was unique. Good ol boy.

With K-Dubs speed he should have by all rights been a multi time champion. He was just unfortunate to have his career at the same time as the greatest racers the sport has ever seen. He came along at the end of the MC era just like Sexton is coming along at the end of the Tomac era.
By the time Windham was ready to win titles so was RC, then Chad and Bubba. Talk about bad timing. If Chase doesn't take home some hardware next year, he is in danger of getting shut out of championships by Jett Lawrence.

From what we are hearing Honda may feel this way because it looks like they are willing to let Chase walk after next year and are pushing all in with Jett.

* No hate on either K-Dub or Chase, they are amazing racers. K-Dub is way better than a lot of guys that have had championships and Chase had enough points to beat Eli in any other year besides this one. Two bad dudes on dirt bikes.

You and me both and that's why neither of us is a national champion.*

* For me it's also that little factor of a lack of talent. lol

I believe in Sexton and I think he can win a couple titles. I can also see Webb, Lawrence, Ferrandis, and others winning all the titles in the next 5 years. I'm excited for the next few years, competition-wise. With Tomac going retiring, someone might step up to dominate a la Dungey, or it might be a free-for-all like SX since Dungey retired.
Really?? You don’t think Webb is done? I don’t see him doing well in either series unless he changed his program and attitude 100% which I havnt heard of. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if he remotivated himself or if he’s still into it.

If ktm can get this new bike working for him he’s absolutely a contender

Nothing is wrong with the KTM. Works just fine for lots of people. If a rider can't figure out a new bike, that's on them. Coop got what he came for and has lost the motivation to continue to grind imho - nothing wrong with that, he killed it. I don't know if he's over putting in the work to keep up with the newest crop of riders or what, but it's something...........when someone signals they would rather sit on the couch eating potato chips - than train during the off-season......believe them. Hopefully, I'm wrong for Coops sake - I hate to see young guys get washed out so early. I figure we'll know about 3 races into whatever series he signs up for next.
