So far the itinerary is Texas, London, Paris, Zurich, Zermatt (Matterhorn), Brussels, London, Texas. Just glossing over a map, it looks like Namur is not that far from Brussels. Surely someone gives moto tours, no matter how short. It sure would be cool to say I saw DeCoster's childhood home in Brussels. Little did he know, some little black kid had his eyes glued to the tv to catch a glimpse of Da' Man when The Wide World of Sports came on tv once a year.

Well Mark I'm thinking you are set for a great vacation, when are you leaving? I don't know about any moto tours there but Roger 'D is still hanging out around here as the ambassador of motocross "the sport of kings" and always ready for a handshake stateside. Mark I was a little white kid at the same time, Bingo for me one new 1973 paper route Suzuki TM125 coming right up 1st race that weekend!
I think I would have sold my right xxx....for a tricked out DG YZ80. I did the best I could on my C and D. These kids these days have no idea how fun those times were. Even when I had to push my bike a mile (and I mean a mile) just to ride it in an open field and then push it home, I was in heaven. My dad said if the police catch me riding on the streets, consider the bike sold, so there was no way I would take that chance. I was in that field for what seems like hours (or at least until I ran out of gas), all by myself. That's probably considered child abuse these days. I could never imagine letting my ride anywhere without me present.

Somebody please make a way back machine and take me to 1977 with Star Wars, Jaws, Hi Point leathers, open bed pickup with a Yamahauler sticker, hot dogs on a propane stove, sleeping in a tent before race day, a Jofa mouth guard and an A.J. Whiting pipe!!!!
