KX 125 tank help

I purchased. 2003 Kx125 tank for my 05 kx125 on eBay. It said that it would fit my bike. I tried to make it fit but it seems too big and won’t sit all the way in. Does anyone have any knowledge on this?

The 03 & 05 should be the same tank and share the same part #

Thanks Trask. I ended up getting it to fit but it’s pushing hard on the clutch cable. Do you know where to route the clutch cable? If I don’t go under the tank above the cylinder head it just reaches the clutch.
