Why not run an off road tank?

Yeah I’m not sure if it’s where the tank on the new YZFs are located or what but I always keep it full. The only way I can explain it is it helps the bike feel more stable and hooked up if that makes sense

The Austrian OE off-road tanks are slim compared to some, like Honda’s, but it’s still wider than the SX tank. The lower CG is not worth the bulk. If range is not an issue (US national enduro’s, EnduroGP, ISDE) the factory guys use a translucent SX tank.
Would give anything for one of those translucent SX-F tanks, that’s real-real factory shit that rarely pops up for sale.

I run an off road tank, local SRA’s are pretty close on fuel and have ran out. But I only ride moto if im not at my monthly SRA so the tank stays on ha First ride it was pretty noticeable in the corners but super used to it now
PS it has its matching wheel back lol
