Hey so I bought a 2022 CRF 250R used. I was told it had showa a kit forks on there. The man told me it cost him $5500 used and he traded in his stock forks. It was dark and I was 4 hours from home so I trusted him and didn’t check the caps or lugs. The caps and lugs are stock. He told me he bought them off Heath Harrison’s bike. I called total control suspension because they serviced it but they didn’t have much to say. They said it’s probably off a Phoenix team Honda bike but they can’t say for sure? Anybody know anything about the suspension? Here’s some pics

One thing I can tell you for sure, hundred percent: the exhaust is a special factory one-off titanium ceramic Yosh prototype.
I'm surprised nobody noticed it.

It is pretty savage getting scammed like that, I feel bad for you dude, but people who know their shit have told you what the deal is in the other thread and unfortunately nothing's gonna change that.

In possible defense of the person who sold it to you, he may have been scammed as well. Or could just be a douche bag.

He likely didn't get scammed and the seller probably didn't tell him that. With how many similar posts this guy has he would probably have learned his lesson or learned what an "A kit you see on Tv" looks like. He's just trying to scam someone else into buying his garbage.

The reason I know this is bogus.. Chad at Total Control is a stand up guy and would have no problem inspecting them and shooting you straight. He also would have instructed you to send him pictures to confirm.

My guess, he told you all of this over the phone and you didn't like the answer.
