These two paragraphs are my favourite......

*The 1986 Motocross des Nations, which was promoted by a young Giuseppe Luongo, was indeed a fabulous event, and one which several of us were privileged to have attended in person. However, the event was so good because of a) the spectacular track; b) the large and vocal crowd; and c), because of the outstanding and dominating performance of the US team, who finished 1-2 in all three races. Mr Luongo taking credit for this event is rather like saying that the greatest gig that Jimi Hendrix ever played was all down to the promoter.

**In our opinion, GPs need to be held in countries where there are home riders fighting for top positions. Going to places like Qatar and Thailand where there are no top GP riders is ridiculous, frankly speaking.

My favourite; goosebumps:
"One of the great attractions of motocross is that it is perhaps the only motorsport where you can get really close to the action. Fans can lean over the fence and cheer their heroes on. They can see the height that the bikes jump and they can experience, at close quarters, the awesome speed at which the riders traverse the terrain. They can see the lines they take, the depth and severity of the bumps and the lean angles in the turns. They can hear the strain of the engines and the chatter of the rear wheel under braking and even perhaps get a little roosted with dirt. They can also literally feel the presence and the power of the bikes as they race headlong into the first turn.

That is what motocross is all about.

So why do Srb and Luongo think that motocross fans are attracted by the idea of being able to sit in a grandstand and watch the action from there?"
