To wake up to a inbox full of emails relating to that gun topic I just sent to the Dumbgeon is frustrating. While some of you can discuss topics like this fairly, too many want to use it as an opportunity to get up on your political soapbox and just take it to a place it doesn’t need to go.

Everyone needs to take a breather and reconvene on the topic. Starting a pissing match over this, that none of you will solve on a forum, while they’re still identifying who’s who in this terrible situation…no one is winning anything by that. Just causing more division.

But he didn’t dig up an old thread. It’d been posted in 3 days prior. In non-moto, I don’t even have to scroll to see similarly aged threads.
The issue is inherently political. ‘Why’s it always about the guns’ is literally asking a question of an opposing viewpoint. But then another in a series of mass shootings makes it off limits? Odd lines to draw. It was very relevant hence why the convo moved straight there when you other thread was locked.
You are one of the reasons threads get locked and deleted.
Calling people you disagree with “boot lickers”.
Perhaps you have some growing up to do.
Now would be a pretty good time to show some empathy to the families grieving.
