We run the Slater Skins cover & Twin Air Race Filter set up👍👍
Both are a Great addition & reasonable too!!

Now that is what we call a hack job, I am sure the rest of the bike looks just as bad. Take a razor blade and at least clean up the plastic and graphics around the holes and take some damn pride in your work. A bike is 10k or more and you hack it up like that. Blush

This thread inspired me to head out to the garage and bust out the Dremel. I replaced the plastic when my bike was new, and to my surprise I had the larger cycra cover. This explains why the cover graphic layed down terribly. Anyways I decided to cut open the center like pictured above on Oldenburg's bike. While not exactly factory looking it should get the job done and it's easy enough to keep an uncut cover in the toolbox if it's going to be a mudder. Snapped a couple pics to show the difference between an oem 2020 450 cover and the cycra. Note that the oem cover lays on top of the twin air powerflow filter setup.

- Nihilo (Carbon, more volume, big holes but covered, used by ClubMX) 299$ ;

- Slater Skins (plastic, more volume, big holes but covered and i think best bang for the money) 80$.

On my side, i bought the Nihilo airbox (really nice piece of carbon and seems well made) but i havn't been able to try it yet.

Finally i went with the Nihilo airbox, here is pics of my bike with it (my tuner said the gain was noticeable on the dyno and much more than the full fmf exhaust alone):

I bought the same cover from CRM but i could not install the gasket, maybe it is designed to work without the gasket?

Thought I would include the P3 vented carbon fiber airbox cover in this thread. They run around $230.
The vents include screens.
I finally got my back ordered Nihilo cover but wish I would have known about this one.
