I have been teetering on what to do next with my '16.

Thinking it might be time for something new and is it worth upgrading my current bike or better to sell and spend the modification money on buying a new one. You're encouraging me to stick with my 16'.

How big of a change did you feel going from the 4CS to the AER 48? Cheers!
I was torn too, and partially still am, depending on what the 2023 FC350's have when they are released. The motor has been basically unchanged since 2016, (very minor updates) so I just can't justify paying the premiums that they are going for now. And I'm not a fan of the blue frames. 🤮 I've ridden the newer 350's, and am also not a fan of the stiffer chassis. And if the 2023's go away from the composite subframe, they are only going to be stiffer feeling. I'm not a fan of that. I like stiff suspension and a more plush feeling chassis.

It was a huge change from 4CS to AER48. And the AER's I got (off another Vital member) were a euro spec model without the mid-valve. They were still, all around better feeling than the 4CS and worth the money. The best mod I did though, was the Lucky spring conversion from MX-Tech. That made the biggest difference and I absolutely love the way they make the bike handle.

If you're going to keep the bike and want to get rid of the 4CS, MX-Tech now makes their own fork called the Blackjack. I was able to test ride two bikes with those forks on them, and they are pretty awesome. If they had been around when I made the switch a few years back, I would have went that route.
