Nice work by the way.
This is another option to do the switch in routing the front brake line. I have a couple of these nos.

Most of the down votes are hackers or Russian bots, I'm sure. I've opened up brand new threads before only to see that I've down voted it somehow? Changed my password on Vital and my email and it still happens. I don't sweat it. And for those mouth breathers that are serial down voters... Let them live their best little negative life. No sense in trying to relate to a stale room temp cup of decaf.

DV, do you have any pics of that original silencer?

Since it's a little slow nowadays in our little dirt bike world and since I have some free time, I decided to work on my second project bike... Here are some progress photos...

Bought this 2000 YZ125 for $1200 while I was doing my first project bike, the 2003 YZ250...

The idea was to build it kinda like the bike I raced in 1998 in the West Coast series...

I got most of the parts vapor blasted. Found some similar old school blue Applied triple clamps on eBay. Got the frame powder coated using a powder called Illusion Smurf. The Bentley Blue powder is good too but I went with the lighter color.

KE3 Restoration vapor blasted my engine parts. Legacy Carbon made me a custom ignition cover. My buddy Thomas, replica bike builder extraordinaire, built the engine. New cylinder, top end. Hinson provided a full clutch setup.

Lately, I've gathered most of the parts and decided yesterday to start building it. Forks are stock. Lowers were coated by SGB Racing. Uppers were provided by Thomas. They were Josh Hansen's upper tubes from when he raced at YoT back in 03 or 04... Subframe is stock, just vaporblasted to remove the blue paint.

I made a little mod on the brake line. Got rid of the long stock brake line. Used a shorter 250f line, bought a little guide on eBay and bolted it on the fork guard just like the factory bikes in the early 2000s

I did 2 building sessions yesterday. The 2nd one ended at 1:30am and that's where I am at now. I'm waiting on a carbon tank which I hope I'll eventually get... I still have to bleed the brakes, work on graphics, build a carbon fiber silencer. I have the canister and got an old FMF shorty silencer on eBay that I need to refurb. Gotta order a few OEM parts I don't have.

The graphics ERA Moto Co worked on a while back to match my 1998 ones. Still not finalized, we still need to add the companies that supported the build...

Hey mate, just wondering if you still have the PC Works pipe, im doing a build myself and chasing a good works pipe?

Look for an 03 pipe. It does indeed fit.
