I am not a kiwi, but the Haka send chills down my spine every time i see it

Really cool in this non sporting context too.

I never really 'got' the haka I just sorta thought it was good theatre before an international but I was talking to a proud kiwi once and he said imagine Capt Cook and his men (The English) turning up to an island thinking they were just gonna take it over and first thing they hear comin out of the forest is the Haka then first thing they see are the locals doin the Haka haha

This one is my favourite.. Although it's Rugby League not Union (Pretty big difference between the two if you US guys weren't aware) and it's the Sipi Tau, Tongan Haka that features the most..

Bit of backstory for anyone who cares this was played in Tonga and the big number 8 and the guy in the middle of the circle (Jason Taumalolo) could've easily played for New Zealand (big brother) and had a better chance of winning the world cup but they chose to play for their true home country Tonga (little brother haha) So I feel like this particular Sipi Tau meant a lot more than usual
