I'm surprised Reed is racing superx with a national title on the line. Though I suppose considering he already has a 20 point lead it's possible he'll have it wrapped up by then... Still, if the championship takes a turn for the worse I wonder if he'll still compete.

How in the hell can Reed wrap up the title when the nationals go all summer ? Wink
By having enough points that if he dnf'd the races after xgames he would still win the championship.

I think that this will be a replay of Bercy with Brayton chasing Bubba around the track. Brayton was strong at X last year, with no 450 time. I don't think it will be close but I think JB is a strong 2nd. I bet Reed sits it out, KW will be rusty and JG will be too aggressive and finish 3rd.

I see there only one rider with NO Supercross experience on this list. That’s dangerous for the other riders. There’s a reason that the AMA/FIM make sure all riders have race experience of some sort in Arenacross or Supercross before letting them compete in a race and that reason is to keep the other riders safe. I don’t think this is good for the other riders. There’s a big difference between practicing on a Supercross track than race against other riders on a Supercross track. Supercross tracks are way too small and tight to be letting a rider that’s never been in this type of situation before. Could you imagine if he hurts a top rider because he makes a bad judgment call?
your post makes no sense, brother.

first off, Christian has his pro license, second how do you know what he's raced and hasn't raced?

what's the difference between this and A1?

the AMA has a points system in place so spodes don't end up doing what you're talking about. In this case, he has a pro license and will do just fine.

you guys can say what you will, but i told you guys what Barica would do and you guys all told me i was insane and he would be lucky to get top 15 so...

Christian has the speed to run with these guys, so believe what you will.

bottom line, if he wasn't that good, how'd he get invited to this event?

If Pastrana fullfills he invitation, I wonder what he will bring to the table. You got Scott Murray who will continue to do a double back forever, or untill its nothing to special (which is not any time soon), and Loza who can do anything he wants on the bike, and Charle page who has landed a front flip, also Bliko who has a very big bag of tricks. IDK??? for some reason I dont think TP will do the best trick, because everyone else's tricks are "Break your fuggin kneck" tricks.

Would be cool to see though.

And...I hope KW does really good

i was thinking the same thing about TP, but you never know with that dude. for all we know, he might have a double front flip up his sleeve, lol.

Travis will compete in Best Trick. He was slotted to do all of them but pulled out of all but Rally and Best Trick. X games isn't like the US Open where they just invite people. They have talked to these guys and they plan on coming or they would be replaced with one of the many wanting in. Not saying someone like Reed with a championship on the line won't pull out last minute, but for the most part they will be there. I think TP is going to go for that 360 backflip where he keeps his hands off the bars while he twist. He hired the guy that landed the first triple twisting flip (or something like that) on skis as a coach. There is a guy named Paris Rosen doing 75 ft no handed front flips but they picked the eight guys for best trick before he got video so he'll have to wait till next year.
