> My supercross season was going OK, I was letting myself down a little bit. I had planned to do a whole lot better than I was doing. Then, alas, I endo my brains out on a triple, and here I sit, typing this dang article with one hand. I was looking forward to outdoors so much this year, but I'll still be able to race the last 4-5 if I'm lucky.

There were too many entries for Glen Helen by the time he sent his in, so they didnt let him race that one. But he'll be at Hangtown this weekend, hopefully kickin butt. Oh, his nickname, he was fat when he was little, so my dad started calling him Pooh Bear, like a little fat Winnie the Pooh. Kinda funny.

> Dad just loves dirt-bikes. He raced when he was younger, and got us into it when we were old enough. There is no place he'd rather be than at the races, working on something. We have a great relationship, and still talk almost everyday even when I'm out of town. He helps us out a lot.

> Yea, kind of a late bloomer, and that's two titles, thank you very much, Rupert! Yea, grew up in KY, just doing the Mega Series and Loretta's every year. Then when we got our Team Green ride in '98, we started to go to the Texas nationals and world mini. I did OK, but never really stood out until about 2002. That year I came out and won Loretta's in the 250B class. Then right before I went pro, I got another title in the 125 Pro Sport class in 2004. So it turned out good for me. I was never the guy who won every title up for grabs, but I think we did pretty good. Had fun anyways.

> It sounds like its gonna be pretty good. With everything piled into one day, that gives us one more day to be at home doing something other than riding dirtbikes. Cause man, its pretty tough to get anything else done when you fly home on Monday, train and ride the next three days, then fly out Friday. I think it will be a good thing.

>
> You know, I've actually thought about it a lot, and I can't think of much else they can do. I mean, obviously Nascar is not very popular, so we dont need to follow their lead........no, I think this year will be better for the sport. I think Davey Coombs knows what he's doing.

> Hmmmmmmm....well I dont really have a good one. You cant tell stories on the GOAT! No, he's really a cool dude. He let me come to his house and ride one time, then proceeded to make me look stupid, going 2-3 seconds a lap faster. That's my story, thanks Ricky.

> Racing the 450 was a lot of fun, but its something that you gotta be prepared for if you expect to run up front. You have to be stronger to ride that beast! The 250F you can throw around and control a little easier. On the 450, you kinda have to sit back and let it do its thing. It was a lot of fun though, and I would do it again if I had the chance. I have to thank my MDK/KTM team for that chance.
