Just bought a 2018 fe450. Only had 50 miles when I bought it. Clutch lost pressure in the master cylinder and transmission won’t shift gears now. Has anyone had this problem on there ktm or husky?. The bike only has 100 easy miles on it now.
Also does anyone know the warranty on the fe line? The bike bought as a left over less then 3 months ago. The original owner is helping out and calling the dealer to see if they can do anything.

I guess clutch slave cylinder is done... can be repaired with the new O-Ring version I guess. Your dealer should know about the topic ;-)

I had a mate's 250SX do that after he used the wrong fluid in the clutch master cylinder. Was the clutch bled before sale??

Check the fluid level in mc.
The engine didn't break.
Sounds like operator failure.

Don’t know how running out of fluid in the master cylinder would cause the transmission to be locked up and not able to shift out of 4th gear??

Those seals go for fun, we always carry a spare.

Not a big deal .

Go buy the entire clutch slave off of a KTM and replace the one on your husky with it. The magura slave is a piece of shit. This is a known issue.

The bike should still shift gears without the clutch which he is saying it doesn't.

That won't work anymore on 17 and up FE 450's and 501's and 18 up FC/FX 450's because Husqvarna changed the hose. The hose now threads directly into the slave cylinder and KTM still uses a bango fitting. Rekluse has them now or you can still get the Brembo seal and replace it. This issue is allegedly fixed for 21.

Take it to a shop and let them check it out.

This. then top off your tranny oil, rock it back and forth and your problems will probably go away - Relax! Those trannys are pretty much bulletproof slight chance your shift star got boogered - still an easy fix no biggy. Don't even have to drain your oil I believe. Lay your bike down and take off the cover and clutch and look around before you take it to a dealer
