I have a Shoei vfx-wr in size M, it’s not too big for my head, but I would like it to squeeze a little more in the cheek area.

It has 35mm ear pads. my question is, if i replace it with 39mm or 43mm ones, I WILL REALLY NOTICE the difference..? Sometimes in this kind of thing, the change is so insignificant that you feel ripped off.

Someone with experience..?

Had a Alpinestars SM10 in size Large that would slide up and down when landing hard. Swapped padding out for 5mm thicker and noticed a significant improvement. Helmet movement reduced to almost never.

Yes it does make a noticeable difference, I always put thicker cheek pads in my helmets.

A "significant improvement" are the words I needed, that's what I meant, and what I want.

Because it is not a cheap accessory to change.

You leave me calmer. THANKS.
