I did not have a sandblaster, I just rubbed with iron straw and green Scotch-Brite pads.

with objective of going back to original hubs and silver rims. I wanted to know from which years the hubs of CR 125/250 are compatible with those of the CR 250 from 2001?

Oem-cycle.com has parts interchange charts,they’ve been helpful in finding what years cross reference.
