43mm KYB Forks - 1996 Honda CR125

Is someone perhaps able to explain how to remove the valve and shims from 43mm KYB forks. I have managed to strip it down this far -
Just unsure of how to get to the valve and shins inside.

Remove items circled and it will push though the inner tube

Thank you! I tried loosening those but didn’t want to force it as it seemed really tight. I will try again.
