1984 cr250 cylinder boring

Needing some professional help here. I have a cylinder that requires boring. I beleive I will be able to bore it for a 66.75mm piston. Can someone tell me what size to bore to before honing? Thanks

i leave .003 in bore to hone to piston clearance
depends on pistons but most time its around .003 piston to cylinder clearance

Sounds good! Can I presume that the measurement after hone doesn't really change the piston to cylinder clearance or I don't need to be concerned with that?

lets say piston size is 2.000
i bore on the boring bar too 2.000 or little under 1.999
then with stone hones ill hone bore to piston clearance (.003) hone too 2.003 for finishing size
stone hones will remove material
(ball hone or dingle berry hone is what i call it lol will not remove material it will get you your nice
crossed hash in the bore for final finish
