1) Sports leagues and racing organizations all have a dream of parity where anyone can win and so far this year we truly have that in Supercross. I can’t remember another season with 6 different winners in the first 3 rounds. Not only have there been different winners in each class but the way they have won was impressive. Pretty much each winner was dominant in their race and you were sure they would go on a run but other guys step up the next race. After last week it looked like Forkner and Roczen had the field covered. That being said there are still potential new winners in the 250 class and at least 4 more guys (1,4,9,21) will likely win 450 rounds. The big question is how long will it take to see a two-time winner in the 450 class?
2) Dylan Ferrandis may have started WW3. If he thinks the hate he got on the podium and in social media was bad just wait till he gets to the outdoors. The poor SOB will need Secret Service level protection at Southwick. I have no problem with aggressive racing and passing with contact. The problem is that when you put yourself on the floor you went too hard. He had to have been feeling the pressure of holding the number 1 plate but having very mediocre results thus far so I understand going for it. As far as not getting docked for aggressive riding the AMA would never want to take a win away unless he would literally stab Craig while he was on the ground. If Jett Lawrence would have held Ferrandis off I firmly believe that they would have docked him at least one position. Taking a win away is a drastic punishment. I’m eager to see how this plays out, does Craig punt him next time? With his aggressive riding to pass Lawrence it is safe to say that the Geico Honda team is none too fond of him.
3) The rumors of Eli’s demise (by me included) have been greatly exaggerated. If anyone needed a win more than Ferrandis last night it was Tomac. He was attacking the track with anger on a track that was tailor made for his style. Eli might not be the most technically perfect rider and his self-destruct instinct is second to none but when he is attacking a track like he is mad at it there is no one on the planet that can touch him. If he seriously wants to be a title threat though, he will definitely need some better starts. This was a gnarly track which allowed him to charge from a bad start but on most tracks that everyone is doing the same thing there won’t be enough separation to move through the pack.

Be the first 2 time winner this year.
Eli looked to be fastest in whoops and corner speed last night
Tomac is a great rider and has three outdoor titles and 28 sx 450 wins. Seventh all time.
2) It amazes me how fast even he "slower" riders are.
3) How Tomac was 1.5 seconds faster in the middle of the main than Roczen is beyond ridiculous.
4) Speed wise, Ferrandis has the 250 guys covered. If he gets a start, he's gone.
5) Was good to see Webb put in a quality ride. Seems to be feeling good finally.
Sorry, that's five.
