I am restoring a well used CR250R and need a pipe and silencer. Any help greatly appreciated.

Todd- If you didn't already know, Pro Circuit still makes Works pipe and silencer for the '87 CR250, but they have limited availability until they have enough orders. DG also has new vintage pipes and silencers also for '86-'87 CR250s. Are you ok with aftermarket? Or you looking for nice used OEM?

If I can't find anything within a couple weeks I'll contact one of those company's and see whats available. Thought maybe someone had one available here.

Pro circuit hasn't made them in a while.
I been on a waiting list for 6 months now.

Try that auction site. I found a 1987 Honda CR250 Exhaust Pipe on there for $39 shipped that was listed as "Stock". I get it and it is an Original Pro Circuit Pipe from 1987 with the Badge still on it. It was just Spray Painted black with high temp paint. It has a dent in the mid pipe that I will be cutting out and rewelding in April when the weather warms up.

Wow! Surprised they have had that long of dry spell on them. I have a PC pipe and silencer on my ‘86 CR250, and bought a spare pipe a few years ago, just in case they decide to discontinue them. Also found a nice ‘87 silencer on facebook recently, that I repainted and repacked for a spare. Not interested in selling them at this time, but I am sure Todd_Kelley can round up something used if he searched around on Facebook and eBay.

I bought one last year from pro circuit. They were out of stock and taking orders with no arrival date. They take your card info but don’t charge you until it ships. Don’t think I waited more than two weeks before they called and said it was ready for shipping. Three days later it was on the steps.

I was able to find a pretty good used FMF Fatty Gold pipe and silencer. It has a little rust but I think it will clean up well. I think it might be nickel plated??

Glad you came up with the FMF set up! The gold series are made from nickel plated steel I believe. Post up some pics when you get it mounted up.
