When is the last time we had so many riders in or near their 30's in the 450 class?

Reed, Brayton, Musquin. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. But I don't think Eli is going anywhere and he will be pushing 30 by the end of his contact I believe.

I know there are more top 22 riders getting up there, help me out.

Yeah, there are a few.
Osborne I think will be 30 next year.
Chris Blose, Chisholm as well. Probably there are more

OSBORNE. Knew I was forgetting a big name.

I'm just wondering if it's been like this before or if this is a new norm.

Its the new normal. Fewer riders getting into racing means not near as much new talent coming up to push the old guys out. Its good from the point of view that if you are a top level rider now you can be competitive for more years. The bad part is fewer riders mean less money invested in the sport and the sport is shrinking and its not the grass roots sport anymore where anyone with a job can go racing. I think MX has out grown itself for the foreseeable future.

Age limits?
Once you are old enough, it becomes are you fast enough.
Who cares if they are 40 if they can do it?

More like a self imposed limit by the riders themselves. Seems like more are staying longer lately. I don't care how old anyone is.

I guess my question is, will we see more top level riders staying past 30 years old more than we used too?
