Whelp, I had a nice 4th gear get off a few wks ago it beat the shit out of one side of my bikes plastics and graphics so I thought it was time to update a few things on the bike and fix the issues that I had with my graphics side number plate wise and just to tweak them a bit. I made a few changes here and there and put a KTM front fender and number plate on it and I love the overall look now.

Where they have the black stripe above the yellow on the rad shrouds, I would prefer that to be blue to go with the rest of the bike.

These bikes are amazing. Came off of an 18 YZ450 and can’t believe how fun it is to ride.

Love the super clean look and yes these bikes are great. So easy to ride and they handle amazing and are as light as a 250 2 stroke and can be ridden like one too.

There’s honestly not many cons other than the front fork IMO. We’ve worked (valved) with mine but it’s still an airfork. Saving up for the KYB swap over. I’m a bigger guy so that may be some of my issue.

I never thought that 20 lbs would make that big of a difference on a bike but damn. Thing corners like a dream and you can really feel the weight difference in the air.

The bottom end was a bit to get used to. Not as much snap. Drilled holes in the air box, went to the 2-stroke aircage and rookie the spark arrestor screen out. Made a huge difference. Currently messing around with the vortex ECU. It completely changed the way it rode. Not 100% on it yet.

I'm running the identical set up as last yr and my 18 450FE made 59hp last yr. I've got the 2 stroke cage and I'm running Renegade SX4 fuel and the full FMF system from my KTM and this bike only made 56.77 hp when we dyno tuned it BUT it made 58.02 with the airbox cover off. It runs awesome after the remap and I honestly didn't want to cut the cover even though I know it would give me a little more snap and overall HP. I may just order the new 2020 cover with the louvers cut it in the upper right hand corner of the airbox cover.

I've had mine for a cpl of wks but the weather has sucked and I was finally able to ride it today for 3 quick easy break in motos before it started pouring and I must say I'm very impressed with it. It definitely feels different than my 18 KTM 450FE. The motor is definitely smoother and more user friendly. I love the ergos of it and I know it's the same bike as my KTM was but it feels different if that makes any sense. Having the Motolab dyno tune it on Wednesday and I'll be very curious to see what it's got and how much can get out of it because my 18 450FE had almost 4hp more than the 3 Rockstar 450s that he tuned last yr.
Did you cut the muffler shorter or is that a 250f muffler? Notice any difference over the longer one?

Hey Danny, how's it going? It's the pipe/combo from my 18 450FE and based on my convo with someone at FMF and my guy at KTM I cut it 2.5" and then had it dyno tuned so I'm not sure about the stock length numbers. He picked up 2hp earlier and 4 in the middle and 2 up top when comparing it to the other 3 other 18 450FE's that he tuned and I brought one along with my bike so I saw the numbers first hand. My bike had more HP on the first pull for baseline numbers than the other 450FE had completely tuned. His started at 54.01 and mine started at 56.23 and his ended up at 54.85 max and mine ended up 58.77 max. His was stock with a full PC pipe and he runs 93 pump gas and mine was also stock but with 2 stroke filter cage, modified airbox and I run Renegade SX4 fuel.
Did you have to modify the silencer mounting bolts? Where did you cut? What performance does that give? Hp?

Can you give me contact for your graphics person?
