Crf clutch trade? Rekluse for Hinson

I have a 17 crf450. I have a Rekluse exp 3.0 with torque drive update in it. Basically making it a radius cx. It all has stiffer springs the 722 used and provides very positive hook up.

I'm just old school and like the feel at the bar of a traditional clutch.

I would trade mine for a hinson set up.

Just throwing it out there.

I don't believe they're the same. Hinson shows 17-18 part numbers.

I have a Hinson complete with 24 hrs on it in my 18’. I don’t really like the heavy pull it gives. Was told to switch to rekluse. Is your set up a manual clutch?

It is an auto. But you still modulate it like a normal clutch.

I will say if your looking for an easier to pull set up, this isn't it. I understand that I could swap to lighter pulling springs and probably be ok. Interesting to hear that your hinson isn't easy to pull in either..

I don’t know if it’s just a Honda thing but my Hinson feels like a Harley Davidson Fat Boy clutch lol and after buying a husky and having the hydraulic clutch I can’t deal with it anymore. I know they come with heavy duty springs to try and solve the clutch wear issues but there has to be a happy medium somewhere
