Guys,
Thought I would get your thoughts if any of you have WR250’s. I have a 2004 and want to give it to my daughter but it’s just too tall for her. They are tall anyway but have any of you taking steps to lower the bike? Other than a lowering link what are some of the other mods, how much can it be lowered and how will it affect the suspension? Also any idea of cost?

The best way to lower them is by having spacers put into the forks and shock. Common practice.
Additional mods would include shaving the seat and lowering the subframe. Between the three you could easily get the seat down 4 inches.

Make sure it has the the fork and shock have the right spring rate for her weight as stiffer ones will not only result in a harsh ride, but also won't compress enough when she sits on the bike.
