2001 cr250

So my dad and i saw an offer up post for a blown up “2001” cr250 1000 dollars we went there and boy oh boy where we surprised. it has a Hpp cr250 engine in it so 89-91 motor blown up and jerry rigged into a 2000 frame and the poor kid selling it payed 1200 bucks and traded a cr125 for it. Short story short my dad and i knew we had to save it and make it number 11 on the restoration list

so the upper engine mount on the lower frame was cut to put that engine in and they cut the mount for the coil off to clear hoses for the radiator. Currently going to a buddies house to pick up a blown 2001 cr250 engine for 600 bucks and we will go from there. ill keep you guys posted

Surprising that someone would pull the 01 engine out and replace with an older HPP one. I have an 01 myself.

yea i dont know why but i sourced a 2000 engine im putting in it.
